The evening begins in Central London with a leisurely cruise along the Thames by riverboat. Canapés & champagne are served on board as guests unwind to the sound of some light jazz. Taking in the world-renowned riverscape, the boat works it’s way languidly down to Greenwich, as revellers relax and swap gossip with fellow guests.
On arrival at Greenwich, liveried footmen carrying lit lanterns greet the boat and guests are invited to walk along the river for a few minutes before entering the Old Royal Naval College grounds via the magnificent rivergate. Flaming torches then guide guests to the entrance of the magnificent Painted Hall where a sumptuous dinner awaits before a stunning performance by the English National Ballet.
The English National Ballet can be commissioned to perform a variety of dances, each choreographed and performed by some of London’s leading names in ballet . This combination of fine art set against the backdrop of the fabulous Rubenesque paintings of the hall provides a breath taking evening of sophistication and culture.
