Lighting & AV

Event lighting provides atmosphere to the venue space. Whether you want subtle or dramatic, Fizz can theme your event with a variety of lights and colours for the effect you desire. From ambient lighting to simple but stylish uplighting or stage lighting we can set the mood with a switch. You may also wish to make a feature out of your space using a light or feature bar. These bars capture the eye and draw your guests in to the space.

Many of our venues have giant or plasma screens installed and can be hired in if the space you’ve chosen doesn’t include one. Screens are increasingly important, whether it’s presentations, or background visuals they provide an identity to the event and can be utilised as much or as little as possible. Fizz will have a technician on hand to help to set up and avoid any technical hitches on the night. A PA system will also be available for those all important speeches.

Dance floors & Staging

Who doesn’t love a good dance at the end of the night? Here at Fizz we’re no exception and want you to show your best moves on some of our best dance floors. Dance floors are a great way to define the dance area and add a focal point to the room. Choose from a variety of dance floors which fit the feel and style of your event. This could be a wooden parquet floor for a more refined look, black and white chequered if you strive for fun nightclub style, we can even provide light up floors to really impress your guests, just let Fizz know how you like to get your toes tappin’.

Some of our venues already have stages in the rooms but if you’ve picked a space which doesn’t and would like one brought in we can assess the best stage for your use and set it up in the venue before your event.

Meet and Greet

Give your guests the star treatment with look-a-like celebrities. They’re guaranteed to do a double take when they spot Daniel Craig drinking a glass of Champagne or Angelina Jolie choosing a canapé at your event. Whether you want A-list stars, royalty like Wills and Kate, or fictional characters like James Bond, any look-a-like gets your guests talking and ensures lots of pictures are taken as mementos of the evening.

If look-a-likes aren’t your thing then why not introduce your guests to our stilt acts, these gravity defying performers may make your guests feel small but they’re worth looking up to. Watch stunts and tricks as these entertainers amble around the venue meeting guests and showing off their lofty talents.

Mix and Mingle

Fizz knows that a one on one entertainer interests guests, which is why we work with a variety of acts who roam the room for small groups to perform to. For those wanting to know what the future holds we have palmists and fortune tellers who’ll tell guests if that tall dark stranger will materialise soon or whether a work promotion or amazing holiday is around the corner. If you want to keep your future a secret but still like a bit of mystery our magicians can showcase some amazing tricks which are guaranteed to leave you wondering how did they do that?

We also have caricaturists for guests who are a glutton for punishment and want to see their strongest features in ink. These caricatures are done quickly and efficiently and you don’t have to stay still for the whole sitting, plus you get a keepsake to take away.

Music

Music is an important part of an event, it signals what’s expected of guests and can change throughout the evening as the mood of the night progresses. Fizz work with a variety of bands and DJs of different genres for a full range of sounds. Guest can be welcomed into the event with the relaxing strains of a harpist or string quartet, be serenaded by a Spanish guitarist, tire themselves out on the dance floor to the fast paced swing band, get up close and personal with a salsa band or just throw some shapes at a disco with our DJ. Whatever music you need for your evening we can find the right note.

Interactive Games

Events are about having fun and what better way to do that then entertain with interactive games. These can be part of a theme or stand alone, either way it’s a great way to bring people together and ensure a good evening.

You don’t have to go to Las Vegas for a good casino; Fizz offers roulette and blackjack – see if you can beat the dealer. If your hand-eye coordination is better than your betting skills than a giant Wii with a variety of games is guaranteed to bring out the competitive spirit. As will the Scalextric, table football and giant board games, for a shot of nostalgia these interactive pastimes will induce some friendly rivalry.
